MENASHA (NBC 26) -- The Saint Joseph Food Program will be able to safely distribute food this holiday season, thanks in part to the generosity of the community.
The organization has added drive-up windows at its Menasha location. Leaders say it will help them serve food and keep people safe.
"This way they'll be able to pull their car right up to the window and then somebody can hand them their packages through the window then they can load them into their trunk and be on their way very safely. To both the volunteers and those picking up,” said Monica Clare, the St. Joseph Food Program Executive Director.
Leaders say on a typical day during the holidays, they'd have about 200 people in the lobby.
