BELLEVUE, Wis. (NBC 26) -- Valentine's Day is the Super Bowl for flower shops across the country. Every year it seems lovebirds will spend more on their loved ones to make the day extra sweet! According to Bank-Rate the average adult in a relationship will spend an average of $152 on the holiday.

NBC 26 Today spent the morning learning it's more about the thought that counts. As cliche as it seems, just doing a little something extra for the one you love, a friend, parent or grandparent can have a huge impact on someone. The Enchanted Florist in Bellevue says they like to focus on that because it's so important to show you care.

The flower shop has been around for about 20 years, but now has a new owner and she says it's been so much fun to see people of all ages want to share a little love.

"I love seeing the little ones come in wanting to treat their mom. It's just so sweet!" said Bebe Kay, owner of The Enchanted Florist and Bee Wed Floral Design Studio.

Kay says having the first Valentine's Day has been such a fun learning experience and they couldn't be more excited to deliver all of the flower orders to more than a 100 locations. Kay says when she acquired the shop it was also important to her to give back.

"I feel like as a business owner in the community you have a responsibility and an obligation to support the community that's supporting you so that we too are also really invested in the community." said Kay.

Kay started by created a floral arrangement that will benefit a different organization each month the whole month long. This February the arrangement will benefit The Beat Cancer Family Foundation.

The Beat Cancer Family Foundation will receive 20% of all sales from the floral arrangement.
