WAUPACA COUNTY (NBC 26) -- Waupaca County Emergency Management has issued a Slow No Wake order for Wolf River downstream of the City of New London.
The order takes effect Monday, June 1 at 8 a.m.
The county's emergency management says no boat shall operate faster than the no-wake order within 500 feet of any permanent building, not including fishing rafts during a flood emergency.
This is part of a flood emergency declared for the area. The flood emergency remains in effect until the waters of Wolf River recede to a non-threatening level.
