OUTAGAMIE CO. (NBC 26) — Due to the rising water levels, the Outagamie County Sheriff's Office is issuing a slow, no-wake order for all waterways in the county except for the Fox River.
According to the Sheriff's Office, the order enforces a slow, no-wake zone for boaters operating within 500 feet of any permanent building.
Deputies say they are utilizing the National Weather Service Advanced Hydrologic Prediction Service's Shiocton Location to monitor the river level. They say when the river is no longer in or above the "Action" stage, the no-wake order will be lifted.
