CITY OF SEYMOUR, Wis. — The Mayor of the City of Seymour is announcing that Shopko's Seymour location is scheduled to close by April 7th.
In a Facebook post on the city's Public Works page, the Mayor writes a Shopko public relations manager confirmed the closure of Shopko's Seymour location. Liquidation sales are scheduled to start Friday, January 11th.
"I am very disappointed with their decision to close the Seymour Hometown and the lack of communication to that effect with my office," the Mayor writes.
The mayor says this news about the closure comes "despite previous conversations I had with Shopko representatives on December 21st regarding the performance of the Seymour Hometown."
