Sheriff: Drinking, smoking teens shoot at business

KEWAUNEE COUNTY, Wis. — Charges will be referred against four teens who admitted to shooting at a Kewaunee County business and area road signs and were found to be drinking and smoking marijuana, according to a Kewaunee County Sheriff's Office news release.

A man called authorities Monday afternoon after he heard a bullet go by him while he was on his roof, authorities said. The man described to authorities a vehicle that had been in the area, according to the news release.

Deputies and Luxemburg Police officers found the vehicle, with four boys between 15 and 16 years old inside the vehicle, deputies said.

The teens admitted to shooting at street signs in Kewaunee and Brown counties, and were drinking and smoking marijuana at the time, deputies said.

A business was shot and and hit, deputies said.

No injuries were reported.

Authorities plan to refer charges against the teens.
