A Shawano County mother has been sentenced in the death of her 2-month-old baby.
A judge sentenced 23-year-old Catherine Barker to four-and-a-half years in prison for failing to report the death of her baby and attempting the hide the child's death.
In court Tuesday, Barker pleaded no contest. Last September, officers found the 2-month-old inside her home. Barker told police the child accidentally suffocated under a blanket.
