TOWN OF LEDGEVIEW, Wis. — Brown County authorities are searching for a man accused of robbing an 84-year-old woman at the Piggly Wiggly in the Town of Ledgeview.
The Brown County Sheriff's Office says the robbery happened around 11 a.m. on June 7 in the parking lot of the Piggly Wiggly located on 575 Swan Road.
The Sheriff's Office says a man, described as being in his late 20s to early 30s, pushed the woman to the ground and stole her purse. The woman was injured and sought medical attention, the Sheriff's Office says.
The suspect ran south on Swan Road and then east on Quindalee Road. The Sheriff's Office says he may have run through the backyards located on the north side of Quindalee Rd.
The Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in finding the suspect. Investigators are asking anyone with security systems to come forward if they have any video of the incident.
The suspect was wearing dark colored shorts, dark colored T-shirt, and possibly wearing a baseball cap. He may have had lighter colored hair.
