WAUPACA (NBC 26) -- An early morning crash Tuesday resulted in the death of a semi driver in Waupaca, police say.
According to the Waupaca Police Department, a semi rolled over on U.S. Highway 10 west of W. Fulton Street in Waupaca. The crash was reported around 5:48 a.m. Tuesday. Police say the semi lost control and rolled onto its side, blocking both westbound lanes.
Two pickup trucks that were unable to stop in time hit the semi after it rolled over. The semi driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The two other drivers were unhurt.
The crash is under investigation.
