The Resch Aquatic Center is closing early for the summer season, citing a staffing shortage.
Resch Aquatic Center’s last day of operation in 2022 will be Friday, August 5.
Swimmers are invited to visit Joannes Aquatic Center, located on 1430 E Walnut Street, Monday through Thursday 12 to 7 p.m. and Friday through Sunday 12 to 6 p.m. Admission is $3.50 per person, and children under two years old are always free.
Joannes Aquatic Center’s last day of operation will be Thursday, August 25.
This comes after the city previously cited staffing issues with opening the pools earlier in the summer season. A previous NBC 26 report said only one Green Bay pool opened earlier in June due to a shortage of lifeguards and other needed staff.
