Across Racine County, preparations are being made to remember Officer John Hetland, who was killed while trying to stop an armed robbery while off-duty last week.

Family, friends and colleagues went to the A.F. Siebert Chapel on the campus of Carthage College to honor the officer at a visitation service Tuesday.
