Protesters embark on peaceful six-mile march from Bay View to Downtown Milwaukee

Protesters are peacefully marching against the police custody death of George Floyd on a 6.5-mile route from Bay View to downtown Milwaukee.

The Justice for George Floyd Peaceful Protest began at 1 p.m., with sign-making taking place before that at 11:30 a.m.

The march started at the Marble Monument in Humboldt Park and is expected to end in the area of Milwaukee Police District 1 and the Milwaukee County Jail.
