GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — Wednesday marked the second day of testimony for the James Prokopovitz homicide trial.

The prosecution spent the day calling more than half a dozen witnesses detailing the defendant’s "odd, strange" reaction when his wife went missing.

Jurors heard about the defendant acting disinterested, unengaged and hostile to those trying to help find his missing wife, Victoria, during extensive efforts by law enforcement and family.

The defense countered these witnesses by pointing out that everyone grieves differently.

On Thursday, the state is expected to call a cooperating informant to offer critical evidence of the defendant implicating himself in his wife's disappearance, allegedly telling the informant Victoria killed herself and he got rid of the body.
