Postmodern Jukebox coming to the Meyer in October

GREEN BAY, Wis. — A big YouTube music sensation is coming to Green Bay on October 24.

The musical collective Postmodern Jukebox will perform at the Meyer Theatre on Thursday, October 24, 8 p.m. as part of its "Welcome to the Twenties 2.0" Tour.

Postmodern Jukebox first went viral a few years ago by using vintage music styles to cover modern pop music. For example, the group did a cover of of Miley Cyrus' "We Can't Stop" using a 1950s Doo-wop sound.

Started by Scott Bradlee in 2009, Postmodern Jukebox (PMJ) has gone on to gather more than one billion YouTube views with 3.5 million subscribers and have chalked up more than 1.7 million fans on Facebook.

Tickets for the October 24 performance are $37.50, $47.50, and limited VIP at $125 and $175. Tickets go on sale Friday, May 3 at 11 a.m. at www.MeyerTheatre.org, the Ticket Star Box Office in the Resch Center or by phone 800.895.0071.
