GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- Keep On Wisconsin is a campaign to bring hope to people throughout Green Bay and across the state.

The campaign group says that hope is more important than ever during this time of change and uncertainty in people's lives. This is why local leaders have joined forces to bring the inspirational and unifying Keep On campaign to life.

According to the group, they intended to be a rallying cry to bring inspiration and hope to people during this pandemic by being inclusive, unifying and nonpolitical.

“It’s a declaration of perseverance and optimism, and an expression of our Wisconsin motto, forward,” said Chad Wiegand, Senior Vice President at Schreiber Foods and one of the campaign initiators. “The Keep On campaign encourages us all to come together as a community, to keep on doing all the right and safe things, and to keep on being kind and caring to each other.”

The campaign launched through social media on Instagram and Facebook on April 3.

According to the Keep On Facebook page, the campaign is intended to:

  • Rally an inclusive community around continued support
  • Build resilience for the long road ahead
  • Instill confidence in our collective ability to persevere
  • Encourage positive action
  • Fuel optimism and inspire hope
  • Create stronger connections despite social distance
  • Promote physical and mental wellness
  • Lead with strength

In addition to Schreiber Foods, the companies and organizations behind the movement include AriensCo, Associated Bank, Bellin Health, Elevate97/KHROME, Greater Green Bay Community Foundation, Green Bay Community Church, Green Bay Packaging, Green Bay Packers, Green Bay Public School District, Howard Suamico School District, Leonard & Finco Public Relations, Inc., and Schneider.
