OSHKOSH — UPDATE:
Oshkosh police are still investigating the death of a 3-year-old girl after a TV falls on top of her.

On Tuesday, Oshkosh Police say officers responded to the 1800 Block of Grove Street for the report of a TV falling on top of a toddler.

When officers arrived the child wasn't breathing and did not have a pulse.

Police say life-saving measures were performed and the child was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Officer Kate Mann with the Oshkosh Police Department says it was "large, heavy-style television." She also says an adult was home with the girl when the incident happened.

"We're just talking to everyone who may have witnessed what occurred and we're just trying to get all of the facts because this is a death investigation," Mann adds.

Oshkosh Police say an autopsy was performed Wednesday by the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner but declined to release any more details. Police are still investigating.
