APPLETON, Wis. (NBC 26) — Appleton Police are looking for witnesses after multiple-vehicle crashes on Highway 41.
It started around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, when police responded to a three-vehicle crash with injuries on the highway near North Richmond Street. As officers worked on that scene, another crash with multiple vehicles happened just south of the initial crash location.
Highway 41 was shut down for several hours before reopening early Wednesday morning. Multiple people were hurt and received medical attention.
Police are still looking for witnesses of the initial three-vehicle crash, as that investigation is ongoing.
