Four teenagers and one adult woman were found dead inside a Milwaukee home Monday morning after police say they received a 911 call from a man believed to be the suspect .
Police identified the victims of the quintuple homicide Tuesday. They are:
- Demetrius R. Thomas, 14
- Tera R. Agee, 16
- Lakeitha M. Stokes, 17
- Marcus G. Stokes, 19
- Teresa R. Thomas, 41
A 43-year-old man has been arrested with charges pending. Police said he's the one who called 911 and told them his family was dead.
One day later, emotions were running high as members of the community paid their respects at a growing memorial outside the home.
Antoine Lewis and his family brought flowers to show their support. He drove Tera and Demetrius to school for several years.
"Pick them up 7:30 in the morning, arrived at the house, Mr. Lewis! "He said. "Great kids, always laughing, give you hugs."
He said Tera and Demetrius had a lot of personality.
"I knew the love they had. They spent nights at my house. They have fun, till this happened, it crushes everybody," Antoine said.
Antoine's daughter, Antwanasia, also knew Tera from the dance team.
"Her spirit was just so good like I'll never forget her, never forget her," Antwanasia said.
Marcus was the same way. Destinee Anthony was close friends with him and stopped by the scene to light and candle and brought a balloon.
"He didn't deserve this. They didn't deserve this," Destinee said. "He would sing to me a lot when I was sad. He was there for me."
She said he was always helping others and could put a smile on anyone's face.
"He was so full of energy. He was a bundle of joy," Destinee said.
It's a tragedy hitting the whole community, even strangers.
"I have kids myself, and you know so me, myself, it hurts inside," Teresa Reid said when she came by the memorial.
"With everything that's happening in the world now, it's just senseless, it really is," Luz Quinonez Hurd said.
Now they're all just waiting for answers about what exactly happened.
