PESHTIGO, Wis. — Peshtigo Police are investigating "sexting" among students in the school district, according to a news release from the City of Peshtigo.
Last week, the city says the Peshtigo police chief received complaints about "sexting" on cell phones and other devices that includes exchanging photos. The police chief says these photos can be considered child pornography, resulting in a possible prison sentence if convicted. Police are urging parents to check their kid's phones.
The Peshtigo Police Department and other agencies are investigating.
