GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- Green Bay Police announced Monday the arrest of a suspect in a homicide investigation.
Green Bay Police said Waylon Wayman was taken into custody on Sunday in Rockford, Ill., by the Rockford Police Department. Police said Wayman is a suspect in a homicide investigation that happened at the beginning of April in the area of Clinton and 12th streets in Green Bay.
Police said Wayman is being held in Illinois on the Green Bay Police Department felony warrant and will appear in court in Illinois for extradition back to Green Bay.
Green Bay Police said more information will be released after Wayman’s extradition back to Green Bay.
