BROWN COUNTY (NBC 26) -- It's the 45th year of the PEO Gallerie of Shoppes. PEO stands for Philanthropic Educational Organization.
Boutiques from across Wisconsin will be at the KI Convention Center this Friday and Saturday. Proceeds from the event stay in Brown County to provide educational scholarships to women in our community.
"These scholarship dollars are targeted for women who have had their education interrupted for a variety of reasons, mostly life circumstances,” said Nan Bush, PEO Gallerie Of Shoppes Co-Chair.
The scholarships will help those women go back to school and finish their degree. Tickets for the event are $5.
