MANITOWOC, Wis. — Manitowoc Police asked for help Thursday in the search for whoever owns a dog that bit a 12-year-old girl, according to a news release.
The dog bit the girl on the inside of her right foot while she was at Red Arrow Park at about 4:15 p.m. Thursday, according to police.
The girl walked home and the incident was reported later, police said.
The dog is described as being brown and small- to medium-sized, with a white underbelly, police said.
The owner is described as a white man in his 20s or 30s, about 6 feet tall, with an average build and wearing a black jacket, police said.
