Authorities say State Highway 55 is closed between County Hwy M (east) and County Highway M (west) due high water and washout. The Menominee County Highway Department has placed road block barricades at each CTH M intersection.
Drivers are asked to not cross barricades or attempt travel through this area. The roadway may be unstable. Drivers are asked to use an alternate route to get to Keshena or Langlade County.
The Sheriff's Office both Highway M roadways are open.
