GREEN BAY (NBC26) — Between the first day of the NFL draft and the news that Aaron Rodgers reportedly doesn't want to return to the Green Bay Packers, Thursday was a big day for football fans.
People went to The Bar in Titletown Thursday night to watch the draft unfold. Some said they hope the Packers will end up with a strong offensive tackle or receiver.
When it comes to Rodgers announcing he'd like to leave the green and gold, fans had a lot to say.
"I think he's really greedy," said Cade Klein, Green Bay. "He wants players, but then he wants money. You've got to pick one, because we just signed Aaron Jones and that's a weapon and now he's complaining. Now he wants out."
"The Green Bay Packers didn't give Aaron Rodgers any help at all, ever," said Owen Smits, Green Bay. "They pretty much just kept spitting in his face. I hope he stays, but if he leaves I understand why. I'm hoping we don't trade Aaron Rodgers, but you never know how things go."
Day two of the NFL draft will continue Friday.
