GREEN BAY, Wis. (NBC 26) -- It's been nearly two months since it was reported Aaron Rodgers is unhappy with the Packers.

And since then, the star quarterback has not said if he'll play for Green Bay again this season.

"He is allowed to be frustrated just like everyone else is," Florida-based Packers fan Teresa Mings said.

"It kind of hurts the fanbase here in Wisconsin to go through the uncertainty," Lake Geneva's Steve Church said.

The status of the star player continues to leave some fans on edge.

"To string us fans along and keep us in suspense isn't right," Church said.

On Tuesday, Aaron Rodgers played in a televised golf event. The reportedly disgruntled quarterback was asked if he'll suit up for the Packers this season.

"I don't know... we'll see," Rodgers responded.

As the team captain hits the links, Church says Green Bay will be fine with or without No. 12.

"If he doesn't want to play for the Packers, he should just tell them and move on," he said.

Rodgers missed mandatory minicamp last month and previously said he wants to host Jeopardy.

"I know a lot of football players turned to be sportscasters, Monday Night Football, all those guys," Church said. "Maybe that's what you ought to do then."

Packers followers like Mings say Rodgers has a right to continue his holdout.

"They [the Packers] always fall just a little bit short of where they need to be, so there's nothing wrong with making changes or listening to what he has to say," she said.

And Mings believes the MVP quarterback knows what he's doing.

"Golf is a good thing," she said about Rodger's participation in "The Match" against Tom Brady and Phil Mickelson. "It can take your mind off what's going on to make a better decision or come to a decision later."

While the fans wait and see what Rodgers decides, Mings and Church both want to see No. 12 back in the green and gold.

"I don't think he should have made a decision a while ago, because it is a big decision," Mings said. "So the fact that he's taking so long to even speak about it, I think it's a good thing."
