GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — With football returning to Lambeau Field for the regular season on Monday, Sept. 20, the Packers are inviting fans to celebrate the new season with “Kickoff Weekend.”

A free concert featuring country artist Jake Owen will begin at 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 19 outside Lambeau Field in the stadium’s east side parking lot.

Parking for concert-goers is free and first-come, first-served in Lambeau Field lots. Attendees can bring blankets and chairs to use during the show. The Johnsonville Tailgate Village will be open with food and beverages for purchase from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Monday night’s game against Detroit will bring a full-capacity crowd back to Lambeau Field for the first time since January of 2020. Attendees will receive a “Kickoff Weekend” rally towel when entering the game. Kickoff is set for 7:15 p.m.
