Ice rinks at public parks are now opening up for the winter season in Northeast Wisconsin.
The Riverside Park Ice Rink in downtown Oshkosh opened up Thursday afternoon. Located next to the Oshkosh Convention Center, the rink will be open daily (conditions permitting) from 5 am-11 pm.
The ice rink at Pinewood Park in the Village of Howard is now officially open as well. It's usually open until 9 p.m. most days. The warming shelter is only open on certain days.
Appleton Parks and Recreation said Thursday that the rink at Erb Park is in good condition and is ready for skating, but other rinks are not ready yet.
In Ashwaubenon, the ice rink at Titletown has been open for more than a month now.
