GREEN BAY, Wis. (NBC 26) -- Local restaurants have been struggling due to the coronavirus pandemic. Downtown Green Bay Inc. has introduced the Downtown Dining Room. It's an outdoor dining room space in the western bay of the Adams Street Parking Lot.
Organizers say the Downtown Dining Room allows restaurant patrons to keep their physical distance from others while enjoying takeout food from their favorite nearby restaurants.
The Downtown Dining Room is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Diners can scan a QR code that will find nearby dining options. Diners are asked to help keep the area clean by using provided sanitation supplies and to practice COVID-19 safety guidelines.
