OUTAGAMIE COUNTY (NBC 26) -- A cyber tip from the Nation Center for Missing and Exploited Children led to the arrest of a man for child pornography, the Outagamie Sheriff's Office said.
The arrest happened Monday. The Sheriff's Office said Christian L Proctor, 42, was arrested for three counts of possession of child pornography.
The Sheriff's Office said a search warrant was conducted on Proctor’s home in the town of Buchanan on April 9th and led to evidence for this arrest. The Sheriff's Office said the investigation is ongoing and could result in further charges.
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office said this cyber tip is just a small portion of the thousands of tips reported to NCMEC each week. The Sheriff's Office said it investigates dozens of cyber tips every year.
