OSHKOSH, Wis. — On what was supposed to be the bars 45th anniversary celebration, people instead came out to share stories about Mabel Murphy's on Saturday night.
The popular bar collapsed in a large fire earlier this month.
On Saturday, Mabel Murphy's owner and employees joined people in the city to toast the bar.
It was also a quick fundraiser for the owners.
"We really appreciate everyone coming down tonight," bartender Michael Priebe said. "It's wonderful to see you all, to hear all your stories. It's super heartwarming, it's touching."
The next step for Mabel's is still unknown. The owner hopes they'll be able to rebuild.
