OSHKOSH (NBC 26) — Oshkosh Police Department says it will temporarily re-open the lobby to sell overnight parking permits.
Previously existing overnight parking permits were extended through the end of May, but the Department says new permits will now be required going forward.
According to the department, the Oshkosh PD's lobby will be open June 1 to June 3 from 8 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. for parking permit sales.
Department staff say they will be in the lobby area to assist during the permit sales to ensure efficiency while maintaining proper social distancing recommended. They mention the lobby door will be propped open, signs will be displayed to show where the permit sale line begins, and cones will be used to direct people to stand six feet apart.
