Oshkosh Police investigate threatening note found at school, no one hurt

OSHKOSH (NBC 26) — Oshkosh Police is investigating a note that claimed there was a bomb hidden at a local school. Police said no explosives were found and no one was hurt.

Police said officers were notified by staff at Lourdes Middle/High School late Tuesday morning about the note, which was found in a school restroom stating that a bomb was hidden in the school.

Students and the majority of staff from the school were evacuated while officers and some of Lourdes staff checked the building, police said in a news release.

Police said no explosive materials were found in the school and students and staff were allowed to come back. No one was hurt. The incident remains under investigation.
