Oshkosh Police arrest two men for human trafficking

OSHKOSH, Wis. — Oshkosh Police say two men have been arrested for trafficking a minor.

Police say on March 22, police say a 17-year-old boy from Oshkosh was reported as a runaway by his parents. He was found March 25 in Eau Claire.

Police say in a news release that the boy had contacted a 25-year-old man online back in January. Police arrested this man on charges of Human Trafficking of a Child, 2nd degree Sexual Assault of a Child, Child Enticement, and a Sex Offender Registry Violation.

Police say officers also arrested a 36 year old man from Menasha for Human Trafficking of a Child and Child Enticement. The investigation is still on going.
