OCONTO COUNTY, Wis. (NBC 26) -- One woman is killed after being shot in Oconto County.
According to Oconto County Sheriff, Todd Skarban, members of the Sheriff's Office were called to a home in the Town of Doty just before 1:00 Monday morning for reports of shots fired.
The 31-year-old woman from Reedsburg was found shot and was treated for life-threatening injuries. The woman was taken to the Antigo Hospital where she died from her injuries.
A 29-year-old man from Baraboo was arrested and taken to the Oconto County Jail.
The victim's name and the identity of the man taken into custody have not yet been released.
The Oconto County Sheriff's office is still investigating the shooting.
