GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — Keith Kutska has had his request for parole denied.

Kutska is known as one of the "Monfils Six."

He's one of six men convicted of killing Tom Monfils, whose body was found at a Green Bay paper mill in 1992.

Kutska went before the state parole commission on March 24th, where it did not grant parole. The chair of the commission set Kutska's next parole review for January 2022.

Of the five requirements to be considered for parole, the assigned commissioner found Kutska has only met the conduct requirement. Kutska is being held in medium security. The assigned commissioner didn't endorse a change to reduced security, but noted a future reduction in security would satisfy a risk reduction requirement.
