GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — Firefighters said one person was displaced after a house fire that happened Sunday just after noon.
The Green Bay Metro Fire Department said the fire happened on the 700 block of Winford Avenue in Green Bay.
First responders said they saw smoke and flames from the exterior window of the kitchen. Crews made their way inside and had the fire under control in less than 10 minutes.
Firefighters said there was an estimated damage of $50,000. One person was displaced due to the fire damage to the structure.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
