GREEN LAKE COUNTY, WIS. (NBC26) -- Officials rescued a hunter who fell from a deer stand in Green Lake County.
It happened around 10:43 a.m. Sunday in the White River Marsh west of Berlin.
The Sheriff's Office received a 911 call about a hunter down with a possible broken leg.
A 40-year-old Omro man was found and brought to the hospital.
He is expected to survive.
The Department of Natural Resources helped with the call.
Officials are reminding hunters to use the appropriate safety equipment while using an elevated tree stand.
