NWTC students were training Wednesday for a national competition.
They're heading to Kansas City where they will compete as the only college team among professional workers at the National Gas Rodeo. They've studied gas utility construction and service for months to get ready.
Events include closing a gas valve or cutting a gas pipe as quickly as possible, and building a meter from scratch.
