GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) announced Tuesday it will honor 2020 December graduates with a virtual ceremony this year.
The school said students were notified by email Tuesday that the Mid-Year Commencement ceremony will be held virtually December 17, 2020 at 6 p.m.
Due to continuing concerns regarding COVID-19, NWTC President Dr. Jeff Rafn said a virtual ceremony is the safest way to recognize the class of 2020. NWTC had also held a virtual graduation for students who graduated this past June.
The virtual ceremony in December will be available for viewing here.
Students planning to graduate this December will receive important information about the virtual ceremony at their NWTC email address.
