The Northeast Wisconsin Technical College has been nationally recognized for having pursued and met challenging student success goals this past year.

Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) was nationally recognized among its colleagues at the DREAM 2021 virtual conference. Achieving the Dream (ATD) awarded NWTC Leader College of Distinction, the highest designation offered to institutions in the ATD Network.

A total of four community colleges from across the country have earned Leader College of Distinction status; this is the highest designation offered to institutions in the achieving the DREAM's network.

“You talk to anyone on campus, and our focus for our institution is on helping students succeed. And we believe that all students can succeed,” said Aliesha Crowe, Vice President of College Advancement. “And so, the LMA award recognizes our work over a long period of time at staying focused on student's success and narrowing those equity gaps for students of certain characteristics on our campus.”

NWTC students can apply for fall 2021 now. Class registration will be available starting Tuesday, April 6.
