GREEN BAY, Wis. — A news release from NORAD says the North American Aerospace Defense Command will conduct an air defense exercise today in the greater Green Bay area between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m.
NORAD says F-16 and Cessna 182 aircraft will be used in the exercise. Some of the exercise will be visible from the ground.
The NORAD exercises are used to plan for scenarios such as hijackings, craft violating airspace restrictions, and responding to unknown aircraft.
