CECIL (NBC 26) — A Bonduel woman and her dog are all right after an early morning house fire.

Firefighters from neighboring communities were called in this morning to help contain the flames.

Fire Chief Kevin Lynch says it's too soon to tell how it began, but he shared that it did start in the attic, and there was a broken power line in the yard from this morning's heavy snow.

The home owner says this is the second time her home has caught fire. She says she escaped a fire in the hallway on Christmas about 15 years ago.

The homeowner says she does have insurance, and she will have to find a new place to live from all the water damage to the first floor.

We are working to learn how much damage was caused.
