ASHWAUBENON, Wis. (NBC 26) -- There will be a handful of people shaving their heads on Monday as part of a 'No hair, Don't care' campaign. It's all to raise funds to benefit Happily Ever After Animal Sanctuary in Ashwaubenon in honor of Dean Ekberg.

Dean has been a long-time volunteer with the organization and he was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Organizers say although most people would maybe want to focus on themselves, Dean is always giving and he is certainly not like most people.

Dean has helped with several aspects of HEA. He has helped with building several projects and fundraising efforts.

The owner of HEA, Amanda Reitz says they will name a room in Dean's honor once they reach $10,000 in donations. She said Dean has done so much for their organization and he deserves to always be honored for his hard work with them.
