KAUKAUNA, Wis — KAUKAUNA, Wis (NBC 26) -- Kaukauna’s police chief says no arrests have been made in the suspicious deaths of two children, discovered at a home early Monday morning.

The children, William Beyer and Danielle Beyer, were just three and five years old. Police describe their injuries as “intentionally inflicted injuries,” but as of Tuesday afternoon would not go into any further detail of what happened to them.

On Tuesday, NBC26 learned that the 9-1-1 call to police on Monday morning was believed to have come from a caller at the home where the children were found dead. Police indicating that the caller claimed “that their children needed help.”

Police say when they arrived they found William and Danielle Beyer dead. On Tuesday police wouldn't elaborate on potential suspects, or motives in this crime. But they did say at this point they have made no arrests, but they have spoken with both of the parents of the two children.

"Anytime a death occurs due to intentional injuries it's shocking to the community. But when the victims are children it's unbearable... I understand people want answers as to what occurred. Our investigative team, along with other agencies at this time, is working to get answers to those questions," says Chief Jamie Graff of the Kaukauna Police Department.

On Tuesday police did not say who made the 9-1-1 call to dispatch. Investigators however did confirm that the person, who made the 9-1-1 call, was there when they arrived. Police are once again asking the public to reach out to them with any information they might have about this tragedy.
