DE PERE (NBC 26) -- A flamingo vandal has struck again.
De Pere Police shared a Facebook photo Thursday showing damage to the Nicolet Alley Flamingo.
This is not the first time the sculpture has been damaged. Police reported damage to the bird back in December. At that time, police said they had identified suspects.
Nicolet Alley is near De Pere's west side. The alley runs south from Main Avenue to Reid Street. Police say this area is intended to be an attractive public space for the enjoyment of all.
Police said the flamingos in the exhibit are symbolic of the annual Pink Flamingo Softball Tournament to benefit local non-profit organizations.
The De Pere Police Department is investigating this vandalism under complaint 20-001699. If you have any information on who may have damaged the flamingo, contact the De Pere Police Department at 920-339-4078 and ask for Officer Zahurones.
