NEW LONDON (NBC 26) — One person died in a crash involving three vehicles in New London on Friday, authorities said.
At 4:25 p.m. the New London Police Department received information of a traffic crash in the area of State Highway 45 and State Highway 15. New London Police said the crash was located on State Highway 45, New London Bypass, in the City of New London, north of the Wolf River.
The crash involved three vehicles. According to police, a preliminary investigation revealed that a southbound pickup truck crossed the center line and hit two northbound vehicles. A total of five people were injured, including one fatality.
As the crash is still being investigated and police work to notify family, authorities said no further information will be released at this time.
