GREEN BAY, Wis. — A new era begins for Green Bay.
At the Brown County Courthouse, Eric Genrich was sworn in Tuesday as the city's new mayor.
The new mayor expressed an eagerness to get to work.
"Ultimately, I really want to build a cohesive and compassionate community,” says Genrich. “I want to lead in that way, in a decent and civil way. And lead this city with other community leaders and city council members and other folks in a way that people can be proud of."
Brown County Executive Troy Strekenbach was also sworn in Tuesday for his third term.
