MILWAUKEE (NBC 26) — The Wisconsin VFW and the Center for Veterans Issues have developed a new app to provide instant resource contacts to veterans who find themselves in times of transition or need.
This free app makes it simple for veterans or active and reserve service members to reach services such as education, employment, financial, legal, or emergency assistance for housing or meals.
The app was developed by Center for Veterans Issues, Ltd. and is being “Powered” by the Wisconsin VFW. It is available at the Apple and Google app stores for both iPhones and Androids, just search for "CVI Help".
The Center for Veterans Issues, Ltd. was established in 1989 and is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to “provide housing and supportive services to help improve the qualify of life for ALL Veterans, their families and the communities in which they live and serve.
The Wisconsin VFW was chartered in 1921 and has been assisting the veterans in the state for a century.
