MARINETTE COUNTY (NBC 26) — A new vaccination clinic has opened up in Marinette County.

The Prevea Community COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic opened Monday at UW-Green Bay Marinette Campus Fieldhouse. Governor Tony Evers talked about the importance of the new clinic.

"This pandemic is not just around Madison and Milwaukee. It's around Marinette, it's around Rice Lake, around Southwest Wisconsin,” said Gov. Tony Evers. “And the more we can have partnerships like this, the easier it's going to be to make sure that we serve the entire state of Wisconsin."

Appointments are needed to get a vaccine and can be made online.

The fastest way to get an appointment scheduled is with MyPrevea, which can be set up at www.myprevea.com. If you do not have access or are unable to use the internet, Prevea has a toll-free number dedicated to COVID-19 vaccination questions and information at 833-344–4373.
