NEENAH (NBC 26) -- The Neenah Joint School District announced Thursday that elementary schools will return to in-person learning five days per week, while Neenah High School will remain in online learning over the next two weeks.

At the middle school level, the school district said Horace Mann will return to in-person five days per week and Shattuck will employ a hybrid model of in-person and online learning.

The school district cited a decrease in COVID-19 cases among younger children in the District and Winnebago County. The school district said the past two weeks saw a slight increase in the number of COVID cases among high school students, so Neenah High School will remain in an online learning environment through Friday, October 30.
